How Liz Cambage Broke The WNBA’s Scoring Record

Wings' Liz Cambage sets WNBA record with 53-point game

Personally, happy for Liz but sad to see a record set by a Tulsa Shock player go. Riquna Williams was in her second year when she set the 51 point record and only rarely started to that point in her career.

Cambage got a shout-out on High Noon today. Which is awesome for me, because I love High Noon. I mean, it wasn't the A-block, but still.

I remember the Riquna game. She couldn’t miss, and I believe they were mostly perimeter shots.

I didn’t watch the videos but I knew Cambage was capable of some big games if they could steer Diggins away from her me-balling (aka, dribbling the ball down the court and chucking an early shot clock three). Things seem to be coming together for Dallas, if Cambage can get through her tech difficulties.
Maybe earning this record and all the positive attention she’s getting from it will give her a new perspective and she’ll start to play with a more positive demeanor as a result.

Seriously Dude you never get tired? This entire paragraph was underlying shade and you attempted to cover it up with optimism as if your a happy wings fan when we all know your the biggest hater of our two stars on this board. You find any way to damper a players light when its not a minnesota lynx player Laughing Laughing When i saw you posted in this thread i already knew it was something to take Liz or Skylars shine away. And you wonder why people ....Nvm Rolling Eyes

Will you ever get tired of pulling on my pant leg? You’re clearly going to be unhappy with anything I have to say. This was my honest evaluation of Dallas at the moment, and if you want to characterize it as hate disguised as optimism, then you’re just trying too hard to get personal. Who are you to lay in judgement of everything I post? If you have something to add to the basketball conversation, then add it. If you have an opposing position, then lay on it on me. Otherwise you’re clearly just harassing me.

Im proud of her , she even took some steps to shutting up towards the refs yesterday . There was a few times when she started to say something after the shot but chose to refocus and hush up .Taj McWilliams Franklin has more of an effect on Liz than most people know . I was actually happy to see her stand in for Fred after the ejection . Possibly a successor in the future if things dont pan out with fred.

Does this count

I understand Liz Cambage speaking her mind - that's just her - but she might want to dial it back *just* a bit.

Knowing how little it takes to set Liz off, yes, that definitely counts. There are times she would take that in the right spirit, and then there is the other 93% of the time ...

Who the hell does Hollywood Liz think she is? Riquna? Laughing Congrats to the Big Lady on her Showtime! performance!

Those damn Wings saw Riquna do this to the tune of 51 points for them, and now Liz takes off into stratospheric heights? I guess some of those Wings really know how to fly. Laughing
