Out of the next several games, this is the one that concerns me the most, with Atlanta a close second. In spite of two losses to DC, I think we match up well to them. Plus I think our depth and speed can bother them if we keep running. Against Minnesota I think Whalen is going to have her hands full with Boyd on both ends.
Dallas has played much better transition defense as the year has gone on but I definitely think you want to make Diggins and especially Cambage run as much as possible. Boyd/Diggins will be a very interesting matchup. Let’s see if Boyd can contain a player who’s been red hot. And if she can break down a defense that has done well against penetrating offenses of late. Dallas is good. If the Libs beat them on the road I’ll feel much more confident about where they’re at.

Isn’t Boyd the one who likes to foul three point shooters? Diggins should love that.

Diggins got fouled twice shooting threes in the last Libs-Dallas game much to my annoyance. It was definitely Boyd one of the times. May have been her the other time too, not sure.

Hopefully, Shaqbage will get a fair shake from the officiating. (Miracles do happen, occasionally.)

Zellous just did the same thing Thornton did and gets a T and nothing against Thornton.

My FD curse on Diggins is looking very effective.

Cambage with 21 points in the first half already. Liberty just don't have an answer.

Dallas already has Minnesota to thank for trading 3 Super Bowls for Herschel Walker, a Stanley Cup NHL team, and now Dallas has Minnesota to thank for Liz Cambage, because the Lynx drafted Maya Moore over her. 😭

Shavonte Zellous has been very visibly going off on refs for a long while. Not just this season. I'm sure some of these Ts are because refs are tired of her. I'm a Liberty fan, Zellous is one of my favorite players on the team, and even I am tired of watching her do this. With or without the technicals.

Z does yell at refs too much. You’re going to lose the benefit of the doubt after awhile. I don’t know why she’s flexing anyway when the team is down by double digits. Poor judgment, especially when you’re two Ts away from suspension.

Dallas is just a better team, i don't know why Libs doesn't double Liz more harder and quicker when she gets the ball

The officiating is a joke though. 22 FTA for Dallas. At least half not even being shooting fouls. There’s incidental bumping that goes on all the time. This is absurd.

Need some Zahui enforcement out there or else Cambage is going to score 40+.

I demand that Liz Cambage score at least 52 points! The future of Australia-Texas relations may depend on all of the kids seeing her break the single-game scoring record in person!

Yes, this is exactly what I was trying to get at. Given her constant, demonstrative complaints, is it a surprise that Zellous gets called for a T when an opponent does the exact same thing and no T is called?
