Lowest FTA disparity by a team in a single season? Anyone have easy access? I’m figuring Pilight probably has some excel sheets handy for a quicker count. I’m curious how close my team is to being on pace for the league record.

My stats show that last season the Chicago Sky had the worst disparity in League history, shooting only 482 FTA while giving up 726. The only other time since 2008 that a team averaged 5 FTA less than their opponents was the Liberty in 2012, and no team has had that much of an advantage (best was Phoenix in 2014, 687 vs 522) . Before then it happened several times. The next worst was the 1999 Liberty who had only 529 FTA but allowed 723. On the plus side two seasons stand out. Detroit had a +9 per game advantage in 2003 (882 vs 556 FTA) and Sacramento was +8 per game in 1999 (847 vs 590 - 32 games).

So far the Liberty are at just under -6 per game (256 vs 351) through 16 games.
