I saw an article today about two polygamists in NJ being sentenced to jail time (One had 24 wives and 149 children). They were fundamentalist Mormons who had moved from Canada.

However, what kind of stuck out to me was the picture that went with the article of some girls from that Canadian community who were playing Basketball. Seriously, the outfits look like what female players wore 100 years ago:

To put it into context, if these women had dressed in this manner in Saudi Arabia they might be faced with being stoned to death.

Well, they're definitely in for some orthopedic problems, wearing Birkenstocks like that on the court. Shocked
