Diamond missed her first 9 shots and Stocks left her in the game...I Love It!...People are going to focus on Diamond's poor shooting without looking at the defense .......Angel is 0-5 with 3 turnovers and 0 asst.

Not really liking the new hairdo from Angel. Looks like a turd on her head

She thinks defenders won't want to get close to her.

CHI with a 6 pt lead with 6 min left. McCoughtry not playing well. Will CHI find a way to choke this game away?

Only Coach Stocks can choke this game away with her horrid substitutions.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the Dream will not win any games in which Blake Dietrick outscores Angel McCoughtry.

Dietrick showing why Collen kept her.
She is whip quick, a decent defender, and today she was hitting shots.

Out of curiosity, does anyone (*stares in pilight's general direction*) happen to know the winning percentage for the home team in these Kids/Camp Day games?

Just a general impression but I think a lot of teams try to schedule someone they can beat. |
You're acting like teams have a say in the scheduling.

I think teams do have some say in scheduling. For example, in the past Phillips Arena was pretty booked up in July and the Dream always had scheduled a long road trip then. Plus, they may be given a schedule that says Dream host the Fever on June 10. It may be up to the teams to decide whether that's kids day or not - within reason. I'm not saying teams have complete control over schedules, but I think they can give the WNBA some preferences and they are honored when practical.

I'm sure they can give a collection of days or nights they have open, but to stipulate what team they want to play on any given date seems a bit of a stretch.
