Inside the W with Michelle Smith: The Six Players Quietly (And Not So Quietly) Having Breakout Seasons

Pretty hard to argue with her list IMO (though whether Hayes qualifies as "breakout" is debatable). Happy to see these players getting some love.

Glad to see Cloud get attention. I can't believe how good her driving game has become over just one year.

Eye test wise Cloud has been the MIP of the league hands down. I for one didn't think she'd stick in this league but boy was i wrong. Shes Amazing! Thibault knows how to pickem! Great eye for hidden talent. Messeman , Cloud, Atkins! All 3 surprises.

Yeah he knows how to pick em alright.
Kerri Gardin, Amber Holt, Ketia Swanier, Chante Black, Megan Mahoney, Allison Hightower and the list goes on and on. Thibault has picked WAAAAY more duds than actual keepers over the years.

The majority of players drafted don’t do well in the league so all the coaches pick WAAAAY more players that you will disparage than ones you will praise. Thibault seems better than most at finding someone in the later rounds.

Parker and Howard are the only Breakout players on the list.

Cloud,Hayes,and Williams have all improved.But I wouldn't say they're having breakout seasons.

Coffey having a breakout season is laughable.Nia wasn't given enough of an opportunity during her rookie season to show what she can do.Coffey avg 7.8 mpg last season while A.Montgonery avg 23.5 mpg...Very asinine decision by V.Johnson....This season is Nia Coffey's rookie season by default....jmo.
