Now that Katie Smith is more experienced at this, I expect her attempt to fairly split time will achieve greater precision. 5 positions x 40 minutes = 200 minutes / 12 players = 16 2⁄3 minutes. So, look for a box score full of players each logging 16:40. Razz

The challenge is that there may not be enough stoppages of play. Here's the solution. Each Liberty player will wear a special watch with an alarm that vibrates. A mathematical program linked to the watches will rotate the 12 players in and out at precise times that will end with each logging exactly 16:40. Liberty players will run onto and off the court throughout the game, hoping that the referees and the Dream coach don't notice. (It'll be a little like line changes in hockey as the action continues.)

It will be interesting. We will have 3 players going 40 minutes (Angel, Clarendon and Montgomery) while the West 4th Street Liberty will have 12 players going 16.6667 minutes each.

I'm betting Collen will win the coaching battle, but the Liberty players will win the players battle.

I love the name West 4th Street Liberty. Instead of tossing lots of Liberty T-shirts into the crowd, fans will be given vouchers for meals at John's, Tomoe Sushi, Mamoun's, etc.; tickets to the Public Theater, the IFC, the Film Forum, NYU's Schimmel Center, etc.; and discounts at local clothing stores. After every home victory, players and fans will head to Washington Square Park for a huge party.

I’m watching from home tonight even though I have tickets. I have to get up very early and it’s not the worth the cost and travel time. This is the last one I plan to miss. But the fact I’m not going says something. I still haven’t gotten past the five rebounds in the first half Saturday.

Boyd playing really well. 4 assists already. Honestly I think she’s played pretty well in general. Much better at the running the team aspect.

I like the minutes distribution better tonight. Still think having two players (Piph, Sugar) who’ve been 14+ point scorers not that long ago screams for a trade.

Effort and teamwork are there tonight. The rebounding is much better tonight.

Is there a post out there who’d be available? The only one I can think of would be Boyette and Atlanta doesn’t need a 2-guard when healthy.

And Angel has 3 assists. Angel has out rebounded all 4 of our posts put together. (7-6).
