I really don't understand the swap of Chong for Romero. Romero is more offensively minded, but Chong did a way better job than I had expected at just being a calming steady influence. Romero is more dynamic but that's both good and bad. Anyway, guess we'll see. So long as Skylar is healthy Romero won't see much floor time in any event.

Lexie Brown beat out Romero for a spot in Connecticut, so is Romero even any good? Don't think it was worth the delay.

I think Lexie Brown is excellent. I guess we'll see, but Romero could be less talented than Brown and still be an excellent addition to the Wings.

Did she really beat her out , or did CONN give up on romero with her not coming over the last season ? *Cough Cough*

The part I don't get is cutting Chong before Romero was available to play. Why not just wait till she was ready?

BTW - I kind of liked Romero but she did have a lot of nothing games in college (including one I actually went to in order to see her play). Just not sure what you are getting with her.

I am surprised Chong was cut. She seemed to do pretty well as a backup last year. Fred Williams claimed last preseason that he monitored Chong through her four year career in college and was impressed how she grew as a player. He also threw in the obligatory “comes out of a structure of a championship DNA”.

He observed her for 1 season in the W and discovered that structure was a lie Laughing Laughing

It's taking a long time for George to play too. Is she even in Dallas yet?

I was just looking at Wilson and Cambage and thinking we're looking at the future of this league. I think Park has a lot of upside as well.

So even with Romero, Diggins is still going to play 40 minutes tonight?

Romero was the 16th draft pick in a very weak (2017) draft. Hard to expect a lot from her.

But she's played 7 minutes at SG.

Can't stand these blathering, endlessly full of nonsense commentators. Somehow managed to become my least favourite pair league-wide.

glory, the forgotten one in Fred's offense. She has to create her own offense.

Im loving Romero already. Big Size and dynamic passer. She makes this team even more versatile with our line ups!

She played SG her senior year at FSU though I do think she is more of a combo.
