Is there going to be a moment of silence in honor of Anne Donovan, considering she has coached both teams?

There was today at the Dream - Fever game. Unfortunately, Kid's Day is not really the best time for a moment of silence, but at least they tried. So I would think all teams will be having one.

Should be a good game if both teams play to their potential (no Atlanta game Storm or 1st half Mystics game Sun).

Storm are going to need the D they played early in the season and lately in 4th quarters to take this game. Hughes' influence was clear early this year with a lot of full court press, trapping, and energy on the defensive end, but the past few games they haven't been applying that same energy (they need to do it even when the shots aren't falling!).

any word on A. Thomas? Is she with the team? Playing? It seems her shoulder injury is acting up - think it's an old injury.

She is listed as “doubtful”

Any thoughts on who may be guarding Stewart? Ogwumike or Jones?

Storm always have trouble against the Sun so this will be a very tough game. If Stewart and Loyd are both playing well in this game then i think we will win this. If its only 1 or both have a bad shooting night then this will be a Sun win.

But some great matchups on the starting line-up Very Happy Cool

Stewie vs JJ (but wouldnt be suprised if Howard will be defending JJ)

Loyd vs Williams (lovely midrange jumpshots, speed and athleticism. Loyd might have an edge with her 3pointshot)

Birdy vs J. Thomas (great leaders for their team, will their 3pointshot fall?

Howard vs Chiney (athlete vs athlete, lets gooo!)

A.Thomas vs Clark ( lets see if Clark can get some offensive fouls on the bulldozer Laughing )

Notice the difference in how Seattle shares and passes the ball around for the open player. No selfish players, unlike Dallas.

Howard beats a triple team. I wonder why I miss her.

Seattle got good production from the bench in the first half. KML and Russel played really well.

Nice battle between the #1 & #2 players from the 2010 HS class. Howard with 13 & Ogwumike with 11 at the half.

Pleasing to see Laney playing well and being rewarded with some extra minutes.
She took that 3 with confidence and knocked it down. If she can do that more often then she's got some years ahead of her in this league.

That's really not a fair fight. After several years Fain is still yet to be defeated in that matchup.

Miller tried to ride his scrubs too long.

Brickfest from Bird & Loyd yet the Storm still hang on for the win against a quality team. Great contributions from the rest. Big win.

That's because the refs only have whistles while Fain has a microphone.

There was a very nice video tribute and moment of silence for her.
