ESPN to Air Six NWSL Games of the Week on ESPNEWS..... Almost there. The deal replaces Lifetime, sort of.

It's ALMOST there....but it is a nice step in the right direction. Getting off of Lifetime and on a real sports channel is the first goal. ESPNEWS is a good start and there could be more eyeballs on the games on that channel. LIfetime kinda sucked at marketing the upcoming games, so perhaps ESPNEWS will do a better job.

All in all, this is good news for the league.
