She doesn't seem too interested in the rebounding part of the game.

Or any part of the game, at this point.

Big upset, especially after that terrible first quarter by the Mystics. Mystics' bench was huge!

Fagbenle is close to a zero. But at least zero is better than the negative that Kizer has been presenting. Kizer thinks as soon as the ball touches her hand, regardless of where she is on the floor, it has to be heaved toward the basket.

Reminds me Amber Harris. Every time she touched the ball she would shoot it.
Reeve must like it, because she was doing the same thing in the last game.

She is doing what she has been asked to do.

Ok, who had Hines-Allen as your stud in Fanduels? Laughing

I have Cloud, MHA and Fowles in a lineup together. I have another lineup that is currently first in the the $1500 WNBA Press. It probably won't hold up but it should still be able to cash.

The Cloud, MHA, and Fowles lineup ending up coming in first. The rest of the lineup had Loyd, Bird, Lyttle and Wilson in it.

Whalen has gotten a jump start on her post playing career body fat. Five years from now she will be looking just like Katie Smith.

you know, a month ago I saw a picture of Katie with some players and my first thought was, "what is Cheryl Reeve doing with NY players?" From a distance the size and shape looked similar.

Yeah, Whalen looks like her interests have moved on. She had one outstanding game but otherwise it looks kinda like going thru the motions.

The Mystics lineup that beat the Lynx reminded me of the NBA Warriors dominant lineups before Durant. A power forward at center, an somewhat undersized point guard with a quick and accurate three point shot and everyone else with good length and quickness and able to hit threes and drive to the hoop.

I have only watched the 4th quarter, but Natasha Cloud was fired up to go at Whalen and having success.

At one point Fowles ran into the lane right at Hines-Allen who put her arms out and blocked her and I think shoved her back a little. Fowles then shoved Hines-Allen. But elsewhere a shot was being missed and the refs called nothing.

Whalen might be the single-worst defender in the entire league at this point. Which even with the likes of Fowles and Brunson behind her is becoming something of a problem.
