(Very) Mild intrigue for this one. The schedule being what it is, there are only two teams in the WNBA who are guaranteed to end their 2018 season with a win: the eventual league champions, and the winner of this game.

This will probably be the least watched game of the day with the most meaning pertaining to next season!

This game is almost a moral defeat for Indiana. I would have said that they get to end the season on a feel-good win, and the likely #1 pick in the 2019 draft, but then you take a closer look and realize that they don't have any real positive takeaways from this game: they won on the backs of two decrepit* old veterans, neither of whom should realistically be with the team next season, and none of the players they should be looking at to be part of their core did anything significant. Like, Achonwa had an okay game, and Tiffany Mitchell was alright, I guess, but Kelsey Mitchell was mad inefficient, and nobody else did anything at all.
Pokey has a lot of work to do.
*It's funny to call these two ladies "decrepit" when I'm significantly older than both of them.

You are right. 44 points from the Fever's Senior Citizen duo. The Fever rookies (KMitch, VV and Mavunga) score 21 - less than half as many. Fever could be worse next year than this year even with the No. 1 draft pick.

I hate it when teams split by each winning on the other's court. Both sets of fans got a loss from their last home game of the season.

Crazy - but it seems to happen a lot.

The Sky in 2018:
+lost Washed Cappie
+added three lottery picks
+got a legitimate backup PG back for most of the season
-lost Breland
...which totals out to...ONE more win than in 2017!
Stocks COY!

She probably would have done a lot better if she could have convinced Breland to stay. Don’t know if that was a money issue or a “not feeling this coach or team” issue.

next year (Just playing around)
Indy
K. Mitchell/Wheeler
Pondexter/T. Mitchell/#25 (Blockton, Dillard, Calhoun?)
S. Johnson/Vivians
Dupree/Mavunga
K. Brown/Achonwa/Alexander
Actually if they keep their senior citizens and match them with the young ones Indy could be OK/ I expect K. Mitchell to do the Plum/Diggins sophomore jump to relevance. This would be a good team for l. Allen to end up on if LV decides to waive her. This also wouldn't be the worst team to try and poach Jefferson.
Chi
Sloot/Fauklner
Quigley/Copper/Mabrey
Deshields/G. Williams
KLS/Ch. Parker/N'Dour
Dolson/Coates
I know KLS at the 4 but Chicago is just going to try and out shoot everyone it might work and she is taller than Gabby

She made Breland a very generous offer, so...
