| The Fever are in full tank mode. This team can't defeat their own shadows. I guess I should say they will not attempt to defeat their own shadows instead of can not defeat their own shadows.

| Probably the Fever's best chance to beat the Sparks this season. Sparks are short handed and coming off of a big win, they may just phone this one in. Even if so, they will most likely still win.

At least the Fever are a real WNBA team that will play with effort and not turn the ball over every other possession, unlike that pathetic team the Sparks got to play yesterday.

It's a game that LA should win, even with a limited roster. However, do not take anything for granted and do not underestimate your opponent! Play with the same desperation and energy you did yesterday in Minnesota.

Maybe we can have a poll. I vote incompetence first. And Pokey is not showing me anything more than what she showed in Chicago. Combine the two and that is also not incompatible with tank mode, albeit I don't think on purpose. Nobody likes to lose. On the other hand when they get Kalani Brown and Shenise Johnson next year, this team will look a LOT better. How about Bonner? Or maybe both Bonner and Dupree will try to go together to a third location? Will Pokey be able to keep her good players? Or will they all demand trades? It would also be great if Kelsey Mitchell went vegan or paleo or something to lose some of her extra weight. I think that would ultimately both help her game and her longevity. Perhaps T. Mitchell can give her some fitness pointers. Or will she be like Shoni and think it doesn't matter?
Lots of questions.

Well, the Sparks know CP3 & Jantel are not available. So slacking off is definitely off the table.
Nneka says she needs a few good women to step up and help her carry the Purple & Gold banner tonight. After a tough assignment against Maya, Alana should be primed to be a disruptive defensive force tonight. Chelsea seems to have taken to wearing her dark cape on a more or less permanent basis, and, even still recovering from a bad foot, Odyssey is showing out. I just want to see her get consistently decent from downtown whenever she gets those opportunities. That electric burst of Riquna is starting to show up in her defensive game, I just hope she plays within herself on the offensive front. Will we see much more of Karlie in this game, or will Syd the Kid come off the bench with a vengence?
