Would you take a summer vacation/mini-vacation to a city over other choices because it has a WNBA team, and if so, which city is the most likely?

I keep meaning to take a short trip to Minneapolis to take in a game. It's the only WNBA city I have never been too, it's close to Chicago, and I have heard it is a lovely city in the summer.

My usual summertime vacation destination is DC when the WNBA schedule allows for me to go see the Liberty down there without work concerns. This year July 4-7 is a possibility.

How about more than one WNBA city? Or --- as Alex Chambers once did --- every WNBA city within that one season?

I'd like to do a west coast trip with the Liberty if it were financially feasible for me to do so one day. Especially with a Vegas team in existence.

I have travelled to many WNBA cities for games, including defunct cities Sacramento, Tulsa and San Antonio. I will be going to Las Vegas for three games the last week in June and hope to finally get to see the Storm at home this season (perhaps June 15 vs Connecticut). That would leave only Atlanta, Chicago and Dallas. Hopefully I can get to them by 2020.
I am quite sure I never would have travelled to Tulsa if it hadn't been for the WNBA.

Same for me. Remains the only city I have taken a trip to because of the WNBA (not counting Sacramento which was 1.5 hours away), but have been planning to do others. The fact that a team is in Las Vegas made me do this poll.

I once went to Manchester for a WNBA preseason game. Does that count? |
