PostPosted: 04/04/18 7:33 pm    ::: 2018 Rebkell Fantasy WNBA Draft Reply Reply with quote

Hello One and All! I thought that it would be fun if we did a Rebkell WNBA Draft, as if we are the GMs of the Teams! We had done it in previous years (2014 and 2015), but I was too lazy for the past two years to get it going. I also thought since things were getting a little tense around here, it would be fun to maybe play a game! So I'm here opening this thread up to see if we have interest in doing it again!?

Previous Year's Threads: 2014 Fantasy Draft | 2015 Fantasy Draft

What We Need: A GM for each team to select their draftees from the 2018 WNBA Draft Class in ALL 3 Rounds

When: This would be a rolling draft, as those tend to work best for this site. So once we have all 12 GMS, we can get started!

How It Works: You have just been hired as the new General Manager for one of the 12 WNBA Teams. It is your job to select the players in the draft positions you have that you believe would be best for your organization! [We will just stick with drafting this year in the order we have.]

If you are interested, post what team you would like to be in charge of. First posted gets the team. You want to get a few posters to do it together or you can take on the challenge yourself! Whatever works best for you!

2018 Teams and GMs:
Atlanta Dream - myrtle
Chicago Sky - Rock Hard
Connecticut Sun - cthskzfn
Dallas Wings - Mojo
Indiana Fever - Shades
Las Vegas Aces - Admiral_Needa
Los Angeles Sparks - hangtyme24
Minnesota Lynx - blaase22
New York Liberty - J-Spoon
Phoenix Mercury - TotalCardinalMove
Seattle Storm - WNBA09
Washington Mystics - toad455

Considering how many Stars games I watched last year because I had so many of their players on my fantasy team, I'll take Las Vegas Razz

Hey WNBA 09 you could pick another team. All the fun of making picks, none of the stress of worrying about what your favorite team actually needs.

HELLO AND WELCOME TO THE 2018 REBKELL FANTASY WNBA DRAFT!

It is a very exciting time for our league and blah blah blah (insert something positive and glowing that Lisa would say). We were so pleased with our DJ Booth last year, that we decided to splurge and rent out numerous basements from our resident basement dwellers and hold the Rebkell WNBA Draft there!

Without further ado, Las Vegas is on the clock....

AdmiralNeeda, whenever you are ready to select, please post your selection!

I think if it played out this way Seattle would be getting some decent trade offers for the #5 pick.

With that said if I was drafting at #5 and planning on keeping the player I'm not sure the choice is as obvious as it may look.
