Did MM travel on that drive?

Indeed she did!! Did they call it, no! but they called a travel at the other end which I didn't see.

The travel on TM? I was thinking it was going to be 3 seconds.

I'll need to go back and re-watch these. I'm not going to do it now.

Feels a bit boring so far even with the close score. Both sides look hesitant - maybe just not wanting to foul. Maybe it gets more exciting if it's close in the 4th.

If ESPN really thinks wcbb is so exciting, then why the need to split the screen to show some BS human interest feature about the teams/players during live action?

Could you see them doing that in an NFL game in the 1st period of a close game?

This game has shifted to favor MSU. 12-6 has become 14-22.

It's starting to look like it won't be close.

Replay showed she wasn't set either. But I will say, Nelson is doing a good job on McCowan.

You don't have to be "set" to draw the foul. You only have to be in a legal guarding position. She was.

That was dumb AO.

That's not a travel.

ND just has no answer for Vivians or McCowan.

Notre Dame scored 3 points in a quarter off a single traditional 3-point play by Shepard. 3 points. It's not just McCowan. They cannot handle the pressure of the MSU wings. The one thing that should improve is that Ogunbawale should start shooting better than .10% . But that is should, because she has to keep doing the "final second" shot : fake drive and then step back, in order to get one off.

Muffet should have asked Dawn Staley for a game plan to beat Mississippi State.

Miss St with 4 fewer TO's and 6 more off bds. The Bulldogs aren't shooting that well (40%) but they've had 11 more shots.

Mabrey/Ogunbowale 1-15 1 assist & 8 TO's.

Often a horrible 1st half gets balanced in the second half. Can the Irish get hot or did they celebrate too much Saturday?

MSU's offense is mediocre (30 points, 39% FG). They're winning because ND's is atrocious. Or you can flip that in terms of defense.

Has anyone heard anything about ND having injuries or TMac being self-conscious about her height as a kid?

Notre Dame looked tired first half, you can also give Miss St. credit on that but i think that game with UCONN took alot out of them
