I found attendance numbers for Albany:

UConn-Duke 10,658
USC - Buffalo 10,310
https://www.timesunion.com/sports/article/Ticket-sales-have-been-brisk-for-Albany-Regional-12779496.php

but I'm not doing as well for other regionals.

Anyone know where they can be found?

The article itself says:

Quote:
The Albany Region's attendance has towered over the regions that played Friday. In Lexington, the two-game attendance was announced at 5,715; in Kansas City it was 4,280.

The numbers for the Times Union Center was consistent with my eye. The arena holds about 15,000. At the beginning of the Buffalo-SCar game I estimated the arena about 1/3 full, and by the beginning of the Duke-UConn game about 2/3 full. They may have sold more tickets than who showed. When I bought three days before the game, Ticketmaster showed no seats in the lower bowl, but hundreds seemed empty during the games.

Interesting they provided two numbers for the same session. It seems like they usually only give one for both games.

CMU vs Oregon says 5,084 in Spokane.

The arena almost didn't have me.

As the incoming crowd got all jammed up, I realized we were being funneled through metal detector gates armed with guys with wands, something I hadn't thought about. For I had one of my pocket knives on me as I always do, a fairly expensive Benchmade Bugout with an axis lock mechanism. Plus, New York has some very strict and inconsistently enforced laws about knife lengths and deploy mechanisms.

As the tidal throng pressed me inexorably toward the machines . . . I quickly had to resort to James Bond and David Blaine stealth and misdirection techniques.

Oops, my bad for missing that the article I cited had attendance for two of the others.

The ESPN boxscores used to report attendance, but seem to have stopped, I didn't think to check the school's boxscore, thanks.

Where do I find that section>? For example, if I go to the ND-TAMU game:
http://www.espn.com/womens-college-basketball/boxscore?gameId=401026202

I see:

Gamecast
Recap
Box Score
Play-by-Play
Team Stats
Videos
Conversation

I didn't find anything called summary.

Sorry, ESPN has been having a summary section all season, even last season I believe. The information you seek is now in "gamecast". Look down a little on the left side of the page

Thanks, although I looked in the gamecast for TAMU ND and it isn't there.

Unless I'm having issues with my eyes.

The NCAA usually only posts attendance after the second game. I know they posted twice for Albany's games but that not their ususal practice.

The C Mich - Oregon attendance was 5,084 and I'd guess that a sizable % of them showed up after the first game started.
