If Jennings and Wilson both have the kind of game they did yesterday, I think UCONN is in trouble....especially if we play as bad as we did against Duke. We weren't crisp on offense at all. Yes, some of that was Duke's style of play, but we just seemed a bit off.

The Officials are the only ones that can pull this game out for SC.

South Carolina just doesn't have the depth to match with UCONN. I see UCONN winning by 20 in what should be an easy blowout. Game will be over by halftime.

Of course you say this about a team where the coach only goes 7 deep at most and lets 5 other players wilt on the bench....

All inter-team history, all stats and the eye test combine to suggest that this should be a convincing victory for UConn -- notwithstanding the alleged fears of ucbart, cth, oldfandepot and Lou Holtz.

Don't know what the OP meant but IMO the depth of talent difference between the top 7's is large. SC has maybe the best player but the next 6 all play for CT.

And as for Geno only playing 6 or 7, look at the other teams still around and you won't find much bench depth anywhere.

Miss St went 6 deep

Louis used more bench but they scored 3 points in 41 mins.

And it's also arguable that UConn's best player right now comes off the bench.

My hopes are for Nell and Andy to run away together before halftime.

Can they get Adam a higher chair? He looks like a kid sitting at the adult table.

Well it is almost game time. I would love to see the Gamecocks win this but only time will tell. UCon is playing on almost their home court and will have as always a ton of fans there to cheer them on. South Carolina on the other hand will have fewer fans there. Their fans really help them. I believe Ucon will win and I still beleive the committee wants a Championship game between N Dame.

Go Gamecocks win or lose!

Gametime now!

You mean between UConn and ND? They won't meet for the championship this year because they are on the same side of the bracket.

I was actually happy to see her make that shot , hopefully she has been really really focusing on that part in her game because the jury is still out .

Is this when we should start questioning truly how "Good" of a coach Dawn might be ? She lucked up with a transcendent player who happened to be from the schools home state , and has yet to produce a life after Aja ? Then a performance like this seems lackluster. Duke at least put up a fight

Seriously. Does anyone give a shit about Staley rooting for the Eagles?

Especially when her team is already getting rolled after just 7 minutes.

If they get blown out by 40 tonight (and with Wilson leaving) does that mean ESPN will finally STFU about her and let SCar fade back into obscurity?

S Car now running the 28 second offense which has become so popular vs UConn. It would help move the game along if they would just drop the clock 15 seconds after the ball crosses midcourt.

And S car's slowdown leads to a 30-12 score after 1 as UConn is hitting everything but layups.

This ain't the SEC Dawn, 25 points at the half won't keep you in the game.

truth be told they lost two players early last yr
and lost the only offensive minded G span
they have no offense other than post players and cant defend the 3 point line
