This is the game I'm most excited to see. Two teams with really good players and questionable in game coaches. Texas has better guards, but UCLA will have the best guard on the floor. Who guards Billings, Jatarie White or Joyner Holmes?

I agree re the coaches but think Texas has a decent advantage in talent and should win the game relatively comfortably, albeit late.

I don't necessarily think Canada will be the best guard on the court.

Man I want this win for those UCLA seniors. So so bad. I just want them to taste the Elite 8 and a chance to swing for the Final Four in their last run at it.

But I just think Texas is too big, too strong and takes this in a thriller.

79-77 OT Texas

Talent wise, Canada is the best guard on the floor, IMO. She just isn’t disciplined lined enough.

Would love to see UCLA to get the win. Billings and Drummer will have their hands full keeping TX off the boards. Hopefully the Bruins are hot from the 3.

Probably true, especially overall.

ACSUC99 says,

Don't tell anyone, but Texas is my pick to win the National Championship right now.

MSU is not peeking and are regressing.

Baylor would have to beat Texas for a 4th time.

Texas should have beaten the Hussies the first time.

BEWARE THE ALSTON!

Hmmmmm, might not be a bad pick. However, Aston has not proven to be a great in-game coach as far as adjusting when things go south. And, If Joyner Holmes starts averaging 20 & 10 for the rest of the tournament, like she is capable.....I might be able to see it.

Texas as NC? No way jose. And I really like Atkins. McCarty can be great or meh. Same with Joyner-Holmes...and there's no question that she has a long way to go to actually get into shape, if she ever chooses to do so. Those three would have to play spectacularly, all of them, for four straight games. That won't happen, and even if they did, UConn would beat them with balance and execution.

UCLA has a good chance to beat them right away. Hoping it will be a good game.

Well, I was perusing the stats of both teams and was surprised to learn UCLA has made 50 more 3s and has shot them at a better rate.

Also, Texas' A/TO ratio is barely above 1, but UCLA has 13 less assists despite having 91 fewer TOs.

I'm not as certain of the game's outcome as I was this a.m. Confused

Ugh why do I have to switch back and forth to watch my two favorite teams play at the same time! Stanford and UCLA both at 6:30?!?!

Texas was #2 in the preseason polls, so probably them

UCLA. This class was supposed to get the Bruins to the Final Four and a loss tonight would break my heart for those seniors who never saw anything more than a Sweet 16.

I can't decide who I want to win this game (I didn't vote in the poll), and apparently neither can the board. The vote is tied at 11.

Those Sam, Spike and Charles commercials are too funny.

I love the "turtle rat" one!

I don't really care but I'll root for UCLA. I'm tired of the galumphing bigs of the Big 12 and SEC.

Surprised Texas scored only 11 in the quarter.

thanks again to the asshole director who feels it's more important to show the scorer run down the court than a pressed inbound pass after that basket.

you people SUCK
