MAC is the last tourney that has a real impact on the NCAA tournament. First game nearly shook things up.

Central Michigan 67 Eastern Michigan 64

Danielle Minott scored 27 points for EMU but missed 2 3-pointers in the final 10 seconds that could have tied the game (she was 3-5 before then)

Miami and Ohio have just started playing now.

And that was after EMU was 0-10 from downtown and trailed 21-5 after 1.

Nothing against CMU, but I like shitty teams in the P5s trembling.

I am outraged over the idea that shittier mid-major teams deserve to make it over shitty P5 teams. Very Happy Though to be fair, after my analysis, the last spot would go to one of a bunch of teams that f*cked themselves up the end of the season, and I have no idea which one should get in, so might as well make things easier and get rid of that spot. Smile

Miami edges Ohio, 69-66. The RedHawks are now 21-9 in Megan Duffy's first season after going 11-21 last year, and have won 11 of their last 12.

Miami vs. CMU at 11 am Friday (the men's quarters are tomorrow) in semifinal 1.
