So are you telling me some rest wouldn't have done this hip some good??!?

They can't beat AAC teams without her in the lineup?

A better team could be up by 10 over UConn when they miss this much. I also can't see any benefit to playing Williams. Rest would have been a greater benefit to her and the team.

I blame Geno for having the audacity to argue for her to win POY.

Geno- "USF was being physical with us and we weren't handling it well, standing around, and became a ball screening team."

If U European SF is too physical for us...

she's getting annoying w/ that crap, but, i will guess on that one she hadn't planned to fall on her ass- she lost her already precarious balance. Bambi syndrome.

The inability of this coaching staff to realize that Azura needs to be in the game 30-35 minutes could be their undoing. Collier needs to be benched IMMEDIATELY when she goes into meltdown mode.

After 3 periods Williams has 15pt (7- Cool, 7rb, 6a, 5s.

When she's on the court It's like 5 1/2 on 5.

Of note, the lockdown Nurse/uconn defense, "which always shuts down the opponent's leading scoring", held Laksa to 26, more than 5 above her avg.

Least enjoyable UConn team in years. Hate hate hate watching this soft team outside of Gabby.

How many missed lay ups did they have tonight? Breathe on them and they miss the lay up.

Gabby needed to risk her hip just to beat soft ass USF at home.

70-54 final Bulls & under pays

Collier 5-12 (2-3) 5rb 0to 12pts

Samuelson 4-13 (2-7) 4rb 3to 12pts

Neither white-shirted junior contributed much but the red-shirt junior made up for it.

Stevens 6-9 7 rb 3 blocks 1 to 13pts

How is this team less enjoyable than last year?

I'd rather watch CD3 than KaChoke and SoftServeStevens than Butler.

Because last year I didn't have high expectations.

I truly this year thought we would be the best team...by far. yet there's like 6 teams that COULD beat us. That's due to the freshmen bust and Camara adding nothing. Its 6 players and a couple of them are helter skelter.

Yeah. A big disappointment for me is that it seems the Ms St loss really hasn't done the trick. I know they say all the right things, but I wonder.

Plus, let's be honest, we don't have a stable of basketball athletes on the court either.

To me, that's the genius of Geno. He can make a couple stiffs, an athlete, a couple of kitty kats and one excellent basketball athlete into an impressive, nearly unbeatable basketball team.

I didn’t even watch the game, but my gut feeling is that this team is eminently beatable by some very good and disciplined team that can get past the mystique and isn’t intimidated.

You have to be ready to punch back and stay close. UConn's not good when you keep them close. Getting them short-handed helps, too. You've got to make them have a bad day. Drag 'em into the mud. You're never going to win a high offense game against them.

For that you need officials who look away from grabbing, pushing, etc. and allow any tactics as long as UConn loses?

How about hoping that the team that plays better basketball wins?

The only hope is probably Baylor. Maybe Mississippi State, but the loss to South Carolina is concerning.
