The Coyotes of The University of South Dakota will face off against the Jackrabbits of South Dakota State University at 1 p.m. central on ESPNU Tuesday for the auto bid to the NCAA tournament out of the Summit League. Having watched both teams a bunch this year they both deserve a bid, but the loser will be heading to the WNIT.

Depending on the whims of the committee, I can see South Dakota St being perhaps the very last team (or two) in if they lose, thanks to them beating NC State and Oklahoma during non-conference play (and their only "bad" losses, being to South Dakota and Florida Gulf Coast, not even being that bad). I'd at least put them in before putting in Charlie Creme's crush, Dayton.
Northern Iowa got in last year despite being beaten 3 times by Drake (though Drake was considered better than this year's South Dakota), so it can happen (though unlike this year, last year a lot of bubble teams lacked having "good" wins, which helped UNI, who beat Creighton & Kansas St in non-conference).

Turnovers are keeping the Coyotes in the game.
