I have no idea who holds the record for the fastest mile today, or what the record is, but I will always know he broke 4 minutes.

Does anyone remember either a big thick junior or senior high English "reader" that had the story of Bannister's record mile, Sir Edmund Hillary conquering Everest, Riki Tiki Tavi by Kipling, what else? Old Yeller, I think. lol. It had a lot of shit like that in it.
