The pace in this game is somewhat different than what is expected in the next game. Laughing

Refs are letting them play! It's nice.

Good start for the Bruins but I don't think any lead is safe with Oregon...they are so good.

Sabally down and in a lot of pain. Replay doesn't look like it'll end up being a serious injury but she sure is in pain.

Canada getting away with a lot of contact on Ionescu.

Entertaining game. Oregon on a 10-0 run to win. UCLA just can't slow it down so much, they simply don't know what they are doing in the half court.

UCLA's late half court offense was offensive to watch. Wait until 10 on the shot clock, everyone points and yells, including Close, and then chuck up a contested three or turn it over. They had the game but blew it. The physicality allowed by those refs was way over the top. That is not basketball...

At least the good news is this loss by UCLA might ensure they fall short of being able to end up in UConn's region again. Smile

It'll get them ready for the physicality the SEC brings...

I wasn't sure why UCLA didn't take a timeout to set up a play there at the end. But of course that lets the defense set up as well.

Note to Mare Murphy: if a shooter (in this case Bando), makes less than half of her taken 3s, then to expect them all to go in, as you stated more than once that you do, is pretty fucking stupid.

And it's been that way for years! Drove me nuts with Thea Lemberger running the point and the last fours years with Canada. I'm not sure what it's about, but it is my biggest gripe with coach Close.

Second heartbreaker for UCLA. Looking forward to seeing them in the tourney.

It also assumes that UCLA knows how to run a play. Running a play involves 5 players acting as a unit. When you spend all season letting your superior athletes use their individual skills to beat a defender one on one that's all that you can go to.

Literally drove 80 MPH home on 91 because I couldn't wait to get home to type what an absolute MORON Cori Close is and Jordin Canada acted like a freshman in her first game.

Close is the worst! She totally lost that game for her team!

Canada was a chicken with her head cut off! Forced circus shots and TO'S!

DIDN'T SCORE FOR FINAL 4:30! AGAINST OREGON!

UCLA has more talent than Oregon yet lost ALL 3 games!

They say it's hard to beat a team 3 times in a year. I guess they didn't take into account Cori Close coaching! JESUS!

And because of geography and Mulkey's scheduling you will have the weakest 1 seed in Spokane with Oregon as their 2. SAD!

Not sure who I wanted to win this one. It was fun to watch, regardless.
