Wilson and Nared are both on the floor for warmups...Wilson looks good, Nared looks a little gimpy.

Tenn is 2-20 after 1st period but in the tradition of the SEC trails by just 6.

Yeah, that's bad. I don't know how she wears them so tight. I'd be crazy pulling at it all the time.

And that guy's tie...is different.

SC 33-23 at the half. Kind of chaotic play by both teams. Nared not up to par. Russell loafing, went to the bench, came back a little more inspired. Tenn needs a big contribution from Davis in the 2nd half, and to make a few bunnies.

Nared is obviously playing in pain and yet has managed to score 7 on 3-8, and get 6 rebounds in a heroic effort while Russell has 2 pts on 1-6 and 1 rebound. Way to step up Mercedes.
Westbrook has zero assists and four turnovers to go with 1-6 shooting.

I can't understand why S Car isn't back dooring the Vols who, as has been their style forever, are overplaying the passing lanes.

This is the way Nared and Russell have played all season. Nared has frequently played 40 mins, hustling her butt off, getting the most challenging defensive assignments, and trying to keep the freshmen organized, while Russell has been standing around, playing minimal defense, and frequently making zero effort to get open, post up, or seal her defender on offense, all while the announcers gush over her and how she needs to get the ball more.

Tenn would be up by 20 if they'd made 50% of their layups.

Yes. She didn't look to be in any distress though.

Once again fouls are not called against Tenn but they don't miss calling a foul against SC even when it is not one!

The officiating in this game is pathetic. Not favoring either team, just bad. Russell's feet were moving on that "charge" call.

If these are the No 8 & No 12 teams in wcbb then I have an idea why wcbb doesn't draw.

Just what I am saying. They called the charge even tho Russel's feet were moving but they didn't call the foul against Tenn when Jennings was hit.

The Tennessee player 'saved the ball under her own basket' but it was made worse because the Tennessee center Russel had stopped playing, instead staring at the ref because an offensive charge wasn't called on Wilson.

Russell doesn't even pretend like she's trying out there.

How many times does an opponent grab an offensive rebound and score while Russell stands out of bounds under the basket watching? It's like she's a spectator.

Nared yelled at her after that play. I'm glad you guys are seeing this. Russell has been playing like this for the past three years, and the laziness has gotten worse with each year. This team will be better without her next year, although Nared will be a HUGE loss.

The officials have totally lost control of this game. I hope no one gets hurts because of it.

I'm not understanding how Westbrook's shot counted when the referee said the foul was before the shot.

S Carolina's sloppy play would be more than enough to lose this game if weren't for Tenn's ineptitude. 27 turnovers and 2/3's of them were unforced errors.

4-6 times a game. Maybe (probably) more.

FrozenLVFan, I'd imagine her lack of effort drives Nared insane.
