Big game in the MAC. Two teams that could get an at-large berth. The Chippewas and Bulls are tied at 25 with 7:30 to go in the half.

Central Michigan 48 Buffalo 46 Halftime

These two teams are certainly worthy of NCAA bids. Buffalo is not the #20 team in the country as the RPI would suggest, but they have a strong starting lineup. Central Michigan can play with all but perhaps the top 3 in the Big 10. Either team can get a first round win the NCAA and with right draw could make the second weekend.

Should be an exciting second half.

Central Michigan 62 Buffalo 60 End of 3

CMU started off well in the 3rd and pushed the lead to 6, the largest by either team in the game. But the Chippewas cooled off and the Bulls warmed up a bit toward the end of the quarter to tie it at 60 before CMU got a put back at the buzzer to retake the lead. 9 lead changes, 8 ties so far. Very good game.

Buffalo used the 7-0 run coming out of the under 5 time out in the 4th quarter to take control and held on for the crucial win. The last few minutes were not as well played as the rest of the game, but these are 2 quality teams. Nice to see some teams that can score.
