32-35 behind at half and Meesseman is having a pretty bad game. They will take that any day

Meesseman shooting 1-10 isn't helping. Lots of Wauters time as well. Very unusual line-ups for Belgium today. Looking like a completely different team today vs. Japan. Can't imagine this version beating Spain on Tuesday.

Maybe FIBA needs to rethink it's allocations for 2022? Neither Puerto Rico or Argentina should be here. Both Nigeria & Senegal have looked better. Maybe give Africa a third slot(Mail finished third in AfroBasket)? And Serbia or the Czech Rep. should be here over Puerto Rico or Argentina.

Meesseman goes from hero to zero in a day, but still had 9 reb in the half. She is a reb machine in this tournament.

This Latvia-Senegal game isn't anything exciting. Just waiting for the Japan-Belgium game to resume.

Japan just a better fundamental team than Belgium. And why is Wauters getting so much playing time?

Allemand at the point for Belgium is so important. She comes back and everybody is back at ease for them

Belgium-Japan going to OT. Both teams a little sloppy in the final minutes.

Big win for Japan. If Senegal can pull off a win vs. Latvia, that's who Japan would likely face in the next round. Belgium would likely play China, whom they should be able to beat.

I was wondering about Traore for the WNBA.

Laksa gets a downgrade from me, until she can show more to her game than just being a shooter.

It's a deep draft. I was thinking a third rounder.

She's 6-9 (at least), built like a pterodactyl, 18 years old, and just went 10-15 for 20pts against that Team USA frontcourt. You go ahead and take Shiela B. Waived from Middle Nowheresville State at #16ish instead.

I agree 100%.

Looking at Spain right now and they almost have too many guards that they want to play: Palau, Dominquez, Ouvina, Casas, Cruz (SG) and Xargay(SG).
Dividing your PG minutes over 3 PG's is not a good idea later on in this tournament.

It's not, but on the other hand it's good for limiting the minutes on older players. The rotations will shorten up at the business end of the tournament.
