Vandy hung around and hung around, which is typical of them in that misbegotten gym, but they never could pull it off. They even resorted to that stupid “we’re gonna foul you over and over” trick in the last minute when they were down 10, thinking they could keep getting the ball to their long-range bomber Rolling Eyes Don’t keep fouling Jaime Nared, silly, she’s the best FT shooter Tennessee has! Tennessee 74-64 final.

Stanford did the same thing against Tennessee. Fouling over and over in the last when the game was out of reach.

That's all they need to do. Survive against the teams they should beat and then elevate their play against the SEC's best.

That horrible Vandy gym does that to the LVs every time. I have watched games from there for years and it's never any different. Jaime Nared had a good one though. She is pretty consistent lately and I see her draft stock going up. If she continues in the same vein I think she goes ahead of Russell.

Teams with coaches that like to direct their teams on every possession have a hard time there. If the crowd is loud enough the coach can't be heard at the other end of the court.
