Ohio St 41-38

Michaela Waterman suffered what appears to be a severe neck injury falling down awkwardly going down for a rebound and is being taken off on a stretcher.

That was extremely scary. I tuned in just after it happened and they showed the replay eventually but it was hard to get a good look at exactly how it happened. She was able to wiggle her fingers and nod her head slightly as they took her out so I hope it’s not too serious.

It did seem to energize tOSU though. Up until then they hadn’t shot well and the score was 42-38, which really surprised me. The Badgers had shut them down with a pretty good zone defense, apparently, and their 3-point shots hadn’t been landing. After the extended delay they regrouped and pulled ahead. Wisconsin did look better than they have in the past, though, so maybe Tsipis is on to something.
