Will Aja play? Im sure she does but will she be effective if hobbled against Cedes? Should be an interesting one , hopefully holly watched what mizzou did on defense last sunday minus the crazy calls.

With Aja in her cast, you have to wonder how long she will be out.
Big opportunities for Jennings and Herbert-Herrigan.

Tennessee dominating the offensive glass in the first.
Laimbeer, Reeve, and Agler there from the WNBA side.

If Tenn didn't waste about every third possession with a brain dead shot or turnover, they could be up by about 20. That it remains close is mostly self-inflicted.

That's typical for Tenn. Get the ball with 28 seconds before half. What? Wait for last shot? Why would we do that? Much more fun to brick a long three in the first 5 seconds of the possession.

South Carolina is just terrible without Wilson. Will they even be a top 25 team next season?

now Herbert Harrigan out - looked like a knee injury.
SoCaro cut the lead to six but now back out to 11.
Impressed with Tenn pressing defense. It looks like the defense of olden times where they got a lot of TOs and run outs. Also impressed with the depth. It really helps to have players off the bench who can bring something when they come on.

Talk about bad, 1 shot attempt in second half by Russell and they wonder by a gassed SC team staying with them.

The guy asks what does it tell you that Russell dominates first half and only 1 attempt second and she says she didn't have to LMAO, NO Russells teammates are selfish period!

Russell was double-teamed a lot of the time, and when her teammates did try to pass to her, it was frequently picked off. I thought they should have played Green more in the post because she's a lot more mobile, harder to pin down, and has better hands than Russell.

Russell's second half production had nothing to do with being double teamed. Without Wilson there was no one who could stop her and she had an excellent first half, but her teammates were simply too impatient to bother working for a good interior pass and Russell basket. They were too busy competing to see who could jack up a bad shot with the most time remaining on the shot clock.
It's remarkable that even as SCar was whittling away the lead in the 4th Q, there was nary a thought of burning clock. Gotta get that shot up as quickly as possible.
One of the announcers even called out Narid about you're not supposed to fire it up just because it's your turn to shoot. And she's certainly not the worst offender.
So they basically froze Russell out for 18 straight minutes.
