This game is also available on NBC Sports Chicago, 665 for DirecTV viewers. Got my DVR set.

This is a key game in the race for the BE title and auto bid.

Lots of TV action tonight. Lots of snow clearing too. Evil or Very Mad

God bless DVRs.

Going w/ the home team in this one.

It's on FoxSports Wisconsin's alternative channel by me (they have a hockey game on tonight on the main channel). I will be there screaming like crazy of course Smile but did want to set my DVR to record it. Let's hope I have a reason to watch it later as I seldom go back and watch games I've attended that MU loses.

I just hope Marquette plays better than last Thu night versus St. John's when they had 27 turnovers.

Can we end the game now 😀? MU is up 28-13 after the first quarter. But this game is far from over I know.

This is going to be a really big win for Marquette.

Unless, of course, they blow a 16 pt lead in two minutes.

Well, Marquette isn't exactly locking things down, but the lead was too big for them to blow (and Bruno stopped fouling).

Good win.

Yeah, I really like this Marquette team. Would like to have Blockton on my fantasy team but she just blows it from the FT line. For a player who does everything else well, it's really disappointing. In general, their FT shooting could really get them into trouble as a team if they get into close games.

Marquette has given me many reasons to have little faith at the end of games unfortunately. I got nervous when DePaul fouled to get up to 5 fouls and then seemingly kept fouling except the refs weren't calling much of anything. And it felt like Marquette couldn't score at all and DePaul was putting up a lot of points during that stretch.

But now that I am home and can breathe again Smile, I can enjoy this victory for a couple days. They have another tough game coming up traveling to Creighton on Sunday.

I agree about MU's FT shooting as a team. However, Blockton is normally better than her 3-6 at the line tonight. She is 49-55 from the line on the year for an .891 percentage - she had made 18 straight FT's coming into the game according to the announcer. And that's good enough for second in the BE in FT % this season so far.

Who do you think they are, Butler? (Granted that was a smaller lead but a shorter time period.)

As much as I find Blockton talented and entertaining, she certainly is not the rock steady leader you'd prefer in end of game situations. She seems often good for a turnover and a bonehead play or two in situations like last night's final minutes.

She can also make a beautiful floater like she did at the end of regulation at DePaul last season to send it to OT. But yes she's not always clutch. I also fear when MU is down and she doesn't have many points - seems to be too much of a tendency for her to try to do it all herself in those cases.
