Sad to hear. I didn't realize she was sick. I started reading her books last year - I am through F and will continue through the series.

I'm amused at the description of her series as "so-called".

That said. This is pretty upsetting news for me. I'm a huge fan of mysteries and thrillers. I've read them since I was a kid.

However, as an adult reader when my slight obsession for the genre really got going, Sue Grafton was one of the first authors I got into. Her Kinsey Millhone stories are superb.

I hadn't bought Y is for Yesterday yet as I was planning to wait for paperback, but I'm headed to the bookstore tomorrow to pick it up in hardcover.
