The game of the week IMO. Oregon's loss at Louisville came 3 days after travelling to College Station. They have, IMO, the best guard in the country and one of the best coaches.
Miss St still gets far less attention from the media than a lot of teams that didn't do nearly as well last year (Tex, tOSU, UCLA) and lost more to graduation/transfer (Tenn S Car). And they also have a great coach and usually play great defense.
Massey makes the Bulldogs a 10 pt favorite. I see a closer game.

I agree. I think it will be very close. Goodwin of OK State went ape on Mississippi State and Ionescu could also. I look for Vic to put Ro Johnson on Ionescu. He indicated post OK State that having Mo William and His daughter try to stop her was a mistake.
And the matchup in the paint could be epic.

Thank god we have this game here in the midst of the December schedule doldrums!
I like the Ducks but consider them overrated. Lost at Louisville by 13. "Big" wins are vs shitty TAMU and shitty Oklahoma. They shoot an impressive 43% from 3.
While they're not as good as last year, I like the home team here. I've got to believe Vic has a better idea/talent than Blair did on how to stop the Duck's 2-man game, which devastated TAMU. It's true MS ST's only "big" win is vs Ok St.
On a side note, I do enjoy watching Bando run around the hardwood.

Bando, Cazorla, Ionescu are IMO one of the best guard threesomes in the country.

| Oregon is far from being a two person offense this season. They can win even if Sabrina is not scoring. The louisville score was not a good indicator. They were on the road in the east coast while the rest of the WNIT teams they faced were at home. They were plain tired. It is not only the final scores that matter but the variables and circumstances under which they transpired that must also be considered. This should be an interesting game.

I remember one other time you said you were surprised there was audio available for a game even though I had that link supplied too. If other people are similarly not checking out the first post, it makes me think I'm doing a lot of work for nothing.

No where in your post does it say ESPN3. It clearly says TV: SEC Network and when I go to Watch ESPN it says SEC network.

Oregon plays too passive a defense, imo, to be considered an elite-ish team.
In order for them to win, MS ST has to go cold and/or the Ducks need to hit 3s. Both are certainly possible.
I like how VV has been benced most of the 1st Q.

Either McGuire isn't 6'5" or else McCowen is more like 6'9" because McGuire looks really small next to her.
McCowan just takes away drives as much as Griner once did.
Oregon needs to take and make 3's if they are going to win this.
