Hayes has looked rattled, but Westbrook and Davis haven't really seemed fazed by playing in a big game. They've made some mistakes but haven't looked nervous.

I swear Texas has thrown up assortment of circus shots within 5 feet of the basket this half and has made none.

Texas looks like the same hot mess of undisciplined talent that I watched UConn annihilate by 50 3 years ago in the Albany regional. Every player tries to win it on their own.

This is why I don't understand all the flack directed at McCallie. I'd take her any day over either of these two coaches. Heck with the local talent pool around Texas, and the history surrounding Tennessee, my grandmother could recruit at either one, and she's been dead for years. That seems to be the only reason either of these teams wins a game is because they have much better players than most of their opponents.

And why people tout McCarty as some great point guard has always escaped me.

The Russell screen I think was legal, but it was nasty. And in subsequent screens, Russell definitely gives just a little extra. And there is a lot of her to give that extra.

I will say that Tenn generally looks a lot smarter and less inept in breaking Texas's press than Texas looks against Tennessee's.

Yikes, this is one of the worst games I've watched in a long time. Horrible shot selection, terrible passes when players have decided to pass , low bball IQ all around.
