Not the start I was hoping for but it is what I was afraid of. I hope this isn't a sign of things to come for the season but I'm guessing it may be.

I don't get why Blockton didn't start although she did still play 33 minutes. And I was surprised to see redshirt frosh Lauren VanKleunen lead MU in scoring - will have to see if she keeps it up as a reliable scorer.

Yes I have heard that many times before. But it feels like a pattern that MU has fallen into many times over my 20+ years of following them and this loss concerns me. I would be perfectly fine with them proving me wrong later Smile.

Amani Wilborn didn't play in this game for MU - no idea if she's hurt or not. I guess I will see on Sunday if she's dressed for their home opener. That's a big loss for MU if she's out for awhile.
