I first heard of Tom Steyer with regard to trucks he was paying to drive around in California during the campaign that had anti-Trump messages on the side. But he was apparently also running TV ads during the campaign against Trump.
Now he has started running ads calling for Trump's impeachment and asking for petition signatures, which is reportedly costing him $11 million. I am in California and am seeing a lot of these ads (multiple in a day). Seeing so many that it seems like it would have to cost more than $11 million if they are being shown nationwide at the same frequency. He is even running them on FoxNews. Is anyone seeing a large number of them in other states? I had read that it is rumored he is considering a 2020 presidential run, or a 2018 run for Governor of California. If these are running only in California, it may be the latter.
