This experiment has been done in Jane Elliot's classrooms since the 70's. Elementary levels and all thru HS levels. She was inspired by watching coverage of Dr. Martin Luther King's funeral coverage and realizing that her students would be talking about it, but not truly understand why he was shot and what he was fighting for- so she developed a tangible experiment that young children could comprehend.

To anyone who says move on and it will too, no it won't. A lot of people watch this video and does the same thing as the girl. They care more about what they want to say than listening to what's being said.
