I thought I'd share with you guys.

First a heads-up on something. Apple changed the design of their Macbook keyboards to something called the butterfly design, and there's been a first version and then a retooled 2.0. Has to do with the support structure under each key. So the old ones, which are no longer being made, had a nice deep key strike, for a laptop, and starting on all Macbook's and Macbook Pros in 2016 and the last of the Macbook Airs in 2017, they all have a much more shallow key strike depth etc.

But there are still some Macbook Airs from early 2015 out there and the one I'll link to at the bottom at B&H (where I buy probably most of my hi-end camera equipment, no tax, free shipping, super easy no-questions-asked returns) a superstore in NY, comes up with some new-old stock now and then and this is one of those cases. I know because, a few months ago, they didn't have this particular configuration of a Macbook Air and now they do.

So my MBA is 4 GIGS of RAM, 128 SSD hard drive, etc. This one that has been discontinued but is still available for $999 ($100 off) has twice those numbers. 8 GIGS of RAM and a 256 SSD hard drive. Good deal, loved my MBA and almost went for this machine. My sister picked one up.

The other truly amazing deal is on a late 2016 screamer of a Macbook Pro. 15 inch retina display. Touch bar. 2.7 GHz i7 QUAD core processor. 16 GIGS of RAM. 528 GIG SSD hard drive. and the clincher, not integrated (on the chip) graphics but an actual dedicated graphics card. AMD Radeon Pro 455 GPU (2GB GDDR5)

So this machine is usually $2800 Now the bad mother shut-your-mouth is $700 off.
