Well, Whalen did say in the warmup hot mic feature that they are trying to be more aggressive... Shocked

i hate LA's game ops...
if they are not playing stupid sound bites...they do something like ring the boxing match's bell... that's not necessary.

Minny guards are dribbling too much on the perimeter. LA is getting way to many slap steals. Pass. Pass. Pass.

Hopefully that last second layup by Beard gives us some momentum going into the second because we need it. I need Candace to stop settling for the three when there is no one within three feet of her. Take the dribble in and pull up. I'm glad Agler pulled Lavender because today is not the day for her softness. More aggressive on defense, rebound please and someone put a body on Brunson pleaaaase.

How many times are the Lynx burned on transition on a jump ball? Reeve has got to teach better jump ball strategy.

Does Agler "trust his players with 3 fouls" or does he go into the game with the mindset that "I'm only going to play 8 players and 5 will get most of the minutes"?

Minnesota playing like they are in an elimination game. LA not matching.

Gets a flagrant foul to fire the team up? Razz

Only 10 players got invited to the 2017 WNBA draft, including Alexis Jones. She wouldn't have been on Minnesota were it not for Stocks taking Jankoska and the Wings taking Akhator. Jones could have a better career than Plum.

I don't think it's a matter of him trusting his starters to play with fouls. He doesn't trust his bench to be effective for any extended time in a game like this.

Parker sure putting way more effort into bellyaching with the officials in the first half than playing the game itself

Is it that Agler trust his players, or that he doesn't trust his bench because they are woefully underdeveloped.

??

You usually can't touch her.

It's interesting to watch Minny and LA fans talk about the refs. Laughing

It's also interesting to watch the ref aspect of the game..who gets favorable calls when both teams always get the favorable calls? (Game by Game apparently.)

parker passed the ball with a player 4" inches shorter on her.
she is not even trying to draw fouls.

It's bad enough LA is losing, but I just watched Fowles go over the backs of two players while pushing Lavender out of the way with her left hand. Cmon refs. Smh.

Ryan Ruocco assures us that 12 minutes is plenty of time for LA to get back in the game from a 17 point deficit which is more than Minnesota led by at the half. Then LA fails to score 5 on 4.
