Maybe they wouldnt want to give her max for multiple years. And maybe they are trying to keep Howard aswell and they might have to give her max to keep her.

Probably because Howard is more deserving of max.

I was looking at the WNBA transactions page on the app yesterday, and it says that Courtney Paris signed with Seattle. I haven't seen anything on here or twitter about it.....but I was a few bourbons deep, so....

Did I read it wrong? Did I miss it on this page?

The Dream press release said Mongomery got a "multi-year" (more than one) deal - might have been money for more seasons than anyone else would offer. I'd be happy with both Clarendon and Montgomery, though. I wanted Mongomery on the Dream before she improved her game with the Lynx.

This is probably it. I could see Minnesota not wanting to commit to 2+ more years of Montgomery. With ATL she’s getting a longer contract probably at a higher salary + bonus stipend money. She’s rolling in the deep.

Of course she won’t be getting that playoff bonus, but the stipend money should more than cover that Wink

just noticed this and it's a little aggravating to see this, but any player for the Aces on this page are listed for "San Antonio". Big blunder by .com

I wonder if this was her choice to stay in Seattle or no one else offered her a contract?

Id guess kelly faris , but idk if she lasted as long as Quinn. Im shocked she's the last of the Mahicans from that UCLA squad that included Willis & Blue . Never would have guessed she would have been the one .

Quinn was a lottery pick in 2007. She keeps hanging around like Shay Murphy from the same class.

Quinn has been the default backup PG for Seattle since she got there. This is only due to Storm management not finding anyone else. You have to wonder if they ever made any other offers during the past few years(Mitchell, JThomas, Clarendon, etc).

Kelly Faris has only played four years. Quinn has played ELEVEN.

I love both Quinn and Murphy. They're both team players with great positive personalities.

^ That is a very handy reference that you're doing each day, toad.
Would you mind posting it as a separate thread and editing it to keep it updated?
