The Dream should be far more concerned about Washington than Seattle.

DC worries me, but Phoenix is the biggest problem of the day.

I feel like, if Brittney Griner had as much heart as Diana Taurasi, she'd average forty points a game. Hell, if she had as much heart as Bonner, she'd average thirty.

She's showing all the heart I want to see tonight. Double double and 4 blocks at halftime.

Atlanta definitely didn't pick a good night for their frontcourt to turn back into pumpkins.

Sykes ejected. Might have cost them the #2 seed.

Don't they still have another game?

They do, versus Las Vegas. Washington plays Minnesota. But a win tonight would be a big help for Atlanta.

It would be, but this is arguably a schedule loss. I don't know why anybody outside of the Dream faithful would have called this game for Atlanta before tipoff.

Griner needs three more blocks for a triple-double.

BG has a double double by halftime and she lacks heart.

I guess 33pts, 18ebs, and 7blks equal no heart because it's not the 40 points you expect her to get.

I feel that BG is unfairly put under a microscope....if Big Syl, Nneka, or Parker for example, had anywhere close to that game everyone would be salivating. The extra two inches BG has doesn't meen she's Superwoman. She is having an amazing season scoring, and she has really shown increased effort on the boards. As a Phoenix fan, I am over the moon with her play... Laughing

I said what I said. If she had heart, she could do that every night. It's not like anybody can stop her.

That aside, there are only two teams in the WNBA that I feel like Atlanta can't beat in a playoff series. And Phoenix is one, and Seattle is not the other one.

I believe Phoenix,Dallas and Minnesota are the 3 worst matchups for Atlanta for obvious reasons.

If Griner,Bonner,Taurasi continue to play at this level, the Mercury have a shot at winning the Championship....Someone definitely got in Griner's ear about her rebounding and overall game....Last 7 gms:24.6p/10.3r

I would have had Minnesota as the third team Atlanta can't beat, but something's off about them this year. They look washed, outside of Moore and Gojira. And if either one of them isn't great, the Lynx can't win.

Fowles was great. Maya was pretty good: 12 pts, 7 reb, 8 ast, 2 stl
If Maya having a great game meant she made two more of her threes, it still wouldn’t have been enough in this game. They need more help offensively and especially defensively.

Five games with two cross country trips would be tough on the short bench Merc.

I would imagine, at least Mitchell..will be getting some time in the 5 game series (assuming Merc gets there.

Could have really used that fourth seed though.
