Monique Currie will be an unrestricted free agent next season and PHX will most likely be using their core on Bonner. Where will Currie end up next season?

They could certainly use her at that SF spot. If i was Mike i would think about starting her ahead of TRP if he wants to continue with the big line-up.

a lot of teams could use her. Does Phoenix try and keep her? Seattle, Washington, Chicago & New York could all use her.

Currie had her best year since 2012 and will turn 35 in February.

So, if you're a GM, do you believe she will be as good as she was in 2017 in 2018?

If it were me, I'd have my stat folks give me a chart of the average decline between the ages of 34 and 35 before I did anything.

Lacking that, I'd say Currie's best role would be off the bench for a contender ... shooting and minimal mistakes are hallmarks of veteran play, and coming off the bench would allow the coach to control for potential defensive mismatches against younger, quicker opponents.

Problem: cap space. Unless Beard retires.

I'm pretty sure Beard is done, unless she's changed her mind since the Spring.

That was a rumor as she stated already she never said she was retiring after this season .

Seattle?

I could also see somewhere like Chicago. SF is a big weakness, and she could be a placeholder if they don't see one they like in the draft.

I wonder if Laimbeer & the Liberty will throw money at her? One year deal until their draft pick(#9) gets settled in? We still work out a trade for Rodgers & Vaughn(another pick?)

PG: Boyd/L. Allen
SF: Prince/Hartley/#9 pick
SF: Zellous/Currie
PF: Charles/Raincock-Ekunwe
C: Swords/Stokes/pick via trade

I am a big Zellous fan, but that is an old raggedy SF rotation.
