Bonner will be cored, yet does she remain in Phoenix?
We need power forward who is a rebounder and defender....to me, the scoring is secondary...it is all about the rebounding.
Howard is a starter on most teams, and would be a welcome addition.
Do Xargay or Petrovic return?
Edit to add: would Phoenix offer Bone a high salary?

Mistie Bass is also playing in Australia, so I wonder if Phoenix would bring her back?

Sandy is down under at the moment (for the first time in many years) and has been appearing on a few radio shows & podcasts while here.
Part 1 and Part 2 of her interviews on The Ruckus podcast are probably the most comprehensive, for anyone interested. Part 1 was more Opals-oriented, while Part 2 was a little more WNBA-oriented.
One of the things she mentioned was getting Bonner back this season, though I don't know if it was just an assumption on her part. A lot of the things she, you know, says, don't, you know, give me a lot of, you know, confidence.

I still see Bonner ending up in Indiana. Sign and trade. But what can Indiana send to try and make it even(S. Johnson & Achonwa?). Does Xargay come back?
PHOENIX
PG: Mitchell/DRobinson
SG: Johnson/Turner/Prince or Talbot
SF: Taurasi/Cannon
PF: Little/Bass or #8 pick
C: Griner/Achonwa/ARobinson

Absolutely not. That is way above market value given the terrible trades teams have had to do when players have demanded a trade to a specific team.

Isn't Bass around the same age as Diana? Mid 30's? Thought they were trying to go younger.

Dupree might be an UFA why not just bring her back, and keep Bonner. Then maybe hope Billings falls to #8 (you could start Dupree but still give Billings a decent amount of minutes to bang and rebound, or bring Dupree off the bench as a featured scorer in the 2nd unit).
Mitchell/Robinson
Taurasi/Turner/Prince
Bonner/Talbot
Dupree/Billings/Cannon
Griner/A. Robinson

Penny is pregnant? Another reason for DT to cut the season with UMMC short

This was my 1st thought when I read that DT was leaving her overseas team early.
Congratulations to Diana and Penny.

With the signing of Little and the potential for reserved/restricted free agents the Mercury roster looks like this:
Mitchell/DRob/Xargay
Taurasi/Turner/Prince
Bonner/Talbot/Petrovic
Lyttle/Cannon/George
Griner/A.Robinson/Bone
Plus 2 draft picks. Who would you recommend for the picks based on the above options? Or are more answers needed as to whom among the reserved players will be returning?
In the comments made about Lyttle's signing, Phoenix doesn't have Currie in their sights. She might be too expensive. Siging Lyttle pretty much rules out re-signing Little. The above roster has some youth with potential and hopefully we can add to that with the draft. It will be interesting how it plays out.
