Candace Parker got two votes for DPOY? Who has a vote, her mom and Holly Warlick? What a joke.

It's two different groups doing the voting. DPOY is media chosen while the All Defense teams are picked by the coaches. You may recall in 2012 Angel McCoughtry finished second in All Defense voting but was left off of the All Defense teams.

Congrats to AB! Very well deserved. Like a fine wine, she gets better with age. Really hope that she decides to give it another go next season as she appears to be in phenomenal shape!

Yes, if I'm an opposing coach I don't want my star guard to have to face AB. We'll see what she does with DT tonight.

As a member of the media (more or less), I will say that the media's ability to assess defensive ability is more than zero -- though not by much.
