Looking forward to this one. I respect the Mercury, but unlike years past, I do not fear them. I hope my Sparks feel the same.

Will be interesting if Brondello stays with her smaller lineup, playing DT at the 3. If she does, I think it bodes well for the Sparks on both ends, as Beard is guarding DT on the defensive end, and on the offensive end, I think Mitchell and Turner have difficulty guarding Sims and Gray. Usually, Mercury are hiding one player on defense (DT), but now they have to hide two (Mitchell).

For Griner, have to do it by committee, with Nneka, Parker and Lav, possibly with a splash of TJJ and Gruda. When we last played the Merc in the playoffs, I remember Gruda doing a good to great job on Griner in spurts, so hopefully Agler uses her in spurts.

The WNBA seriously needs to get rid of Tiffany Bird. Shes been far and away the worst official this season. Too many questionable calls to be questioned !

The minute Parker picked up that charge I knew Phoenix was screwed. LA will get every call from here on out.

Griner will never truly get positioning in this league b/c the refs blow and she's so much bigger. That was nothing but theatrics by princess.

If the foul is on anyone it should be on Parker because she was holding her arm then she did that flop. If that had been BG holding Parker's arm BG would have been called on BG. Same old BS fouls called on the Merc or anyone else when LA plays at home.

They take forever to review stuff like that and yet can't review a fake basket in the last few minutes of a game 5 lol this league

Parker is playing with 3 fouls in the first half. She won't be able to guard anybody. Why aren't PHX going after her?
