Harris was a waste of a camp invite.

Must be kind of a relief to Chicago fans that Stocks seems to be making the right choices.

Considering Sloot and Faulkner are both still overseas (and Sloot might not even be back for the start of the regular season), I'm a bit surprised Epps is gone already. Guess they only needed three days to decide Chelsea Hopkins was a better emergency option. |

yeah, that was exactly my thought too. Still for scrimmage purposes it's nice to have 2 PG in camp...so that makes me think injury or totally out of shape or something egregious. who knows.

It wasn't just three days though. They had all of 2017 to decide that Epps and Harris were crap. Might as well give the unknowns (to this team, anyway) a few extra days of burn before the main horses come back.

Should we start calling her CZ DeShields?

At this point i see Diamond as the Starter at SF .
Sloot/Faulkner
Quigs/Copper
Deshields/Williams/Montgomery
Parker/Bulgak
Dolson/Coates
This team doesn't look so competitive. They did go on a big winning streak last season so anything is possible i guess.

The 4 position is the biggest problem. Be interesting to see how things go with CZ and Gabby fighting it out for the 3 spot.

I've mentioned it before, but Williams might be a choice to start at PF. Unless there's a trade coming, I feel it's between her and Parker right now. The only other possible option is to start Dolson at PF and Coates at C.

I actually thought about that also , but i thought about how successful would that team be with her at 4 on defense and automatically dismissed the Idea.

Quigley-Top 20 in scoring...50%/43%/89%.
Dolson-Top 20 in scoring...56%/44%/87%.
Vandersloot-#1 in Assist,Top 30 in scoring...51%/38%/86%.
The Sky adds Diamond Deshields, who I believe will be a better all-around player than Loyd and McBride. They also add a high energy, super role player who can pass,defend(SG/SF),run the floor, and is a high IQ basketball player(Gabby). And let's not forget about Coates...Coates will be a sold backup.
I've changed my mind on Chicago(Had them missing the playoffs)...Chicago will win 16-20 games, and make the playoffs.

When you stack them up against the rest of the league Team by Team its hard to see them winning that many games . Although i do think they can sneak in the playoffs as a #7 or 8 seed.

I know the consensus state not to judge off 1 or i guess 2 games now , but L. Harper has been solid and im sure she's being judged off the 1 or 2 games so far . Would it be ludicrous to keep her over another rookie drafted ?
Today in 12 mins of play
3-5 FG 1-2 3FG 7 Pts & 3 rebs.
Yesterday 5 pts 3 rebs in 15 mins of play .
Shes making the most out of her limited minutes.

If Stocks is going to have trouble getting Williams minutes, maybe they'd be better off trading her?
