How is your team's foreign tour going, or how did it go? JMU has played two games so far, one in the Netherlands and one in Belgium, beating BV Den Helder 61-50 in Amsterdam, and then going down to Antwerp to do in the Antwerp Giants, 76-64. Kamiah Smalls, Kayla Cooper-Williams, and freshman Kiki Jefferson all scored in double figures in both games. Next stop is France for two games and some more sightseeing. Canadian Eleanore Marcizewski and Coach Ian Caskill, both fluent in the language, can show them around. Coach Ian played professionally in France and his wife is French.

Zags are in Spain and now Italy. 2-0 after beating a team in each location including a team from Ottawa Canada in Italy. Not much in the way of game right ups however.

JMU won their two games in France, beating Club Basket Ifs 53-48 in a game that saw C Kayla Cooper-Williams pull down 20 rebounds, and then going on to whomp up on Franconville, 68-36. Coach O'Regan seems to have let any brakes he had on freshman G Kiki Jefferson off as she scored 21 points against the French team. It looks like if the Dukes stay healthy they have a chance of a bang-up season.

Tenn just finished a 3 game European trip, beating Dozy BV Den Helder 97-45 in the Netherlands, KBBC Upkot Sparta Laarne 106-64 in Belgium, and AK Select 93-43 in France. Reportedly, CKH had the chance to try out a lot of different lineups, and the team visited some great places.

Looks like Den Helder has volunteered to be a punching bag this year. Very Happy
