Sort of significant though that it was this late in the season before you got to a game like this.

I guess it does matter to the Dream now.

Matters for ping pong balls next season. I think both of these teams are in the lottery for a while. Maybe if the Stars get Wilson they could escape next year, but even that could be a reach.

Only if McCoughtry doesn't come back next season; seems odd that you appear to be hoping she doesn't.

As to the Stars and Fever, this game is indeed pointless, but they still have to play it. I expect a fascinating duel between Plum and Wheeler.

Totally meaningless game other than what's left of the pride.

Dream are getting hammered right now vs. LA, so it does look like this game won't matter.

This game wouldn't have mattered in terms of that, anyway... Are you doing that thing I did the other day, when I confused the Storm for the Sky?

Indy needs Wilson or Williams, I think Williams would bring a much needed intensity to the Fever, almost similar to Catching, Wilson would give them great size at the four and a big upgrade over Dupree.

Fever have a more pressing need at 4 other positions though

Indeed; I don't watch college ball, so I'll have to take y'all's word for it, about how big an upgrade Wilson is over Dupree, but I definitely agree that Indiana's more immediate concern is upgrading at the SG, SF and C positions... and they should also look at acquiring a PG that isn't made out of papier-mâché.

I think the 5'7" Erikca Wheeler looks as tall or taller than 5'8" Kelsey Plum.

I definitely could see Wilson playing center for Indiana to accommodate Dupree. I do believe she won a NCAA championship playing center.

Did Plum actually touch her on the shot?

I do believe Gabby Williams won 36 games playing center for Uconn, will she be able to play center in the W?

Plum has tried to drive a couple of times with a defending post player in position to defend and it hasn't worked out. She needs to work on her floater/tear-drop type shot.

Gabby isn't 6'5, 200 pounds

McBride 28 points, 11 boards, 6 assists.

... just seemed worth an acknowledgement.
