The Wings ain't missing the playoffs. If anything, they should be fighting for the #6 seed.

Yeah not gonna lie, I'm nervous af. If the Sky win tomorrow I can see them making the playoffs through the tiebreaker vs Seattle on a last-second Dolson heave or something stupid. It would be great if the Storm win on Thursday and we don't have to worry about any of this, but...

Please win, Wings, because I don't want the Sky to have any more incentive to beat the Lynx!

I wonder if it's going to be weird for the Sky players when all of their fans boo at the top of their lungs whenever they score, and cheer whenever they give up a basket or commit silly turnover, etc?

Who in hoops hell to root for,
'tween two of my underdog faves,
when both are so near the root door
that leads to their tournament graves.

I'm a homie so I will cheer for the Sky to win in front of their fans. They can lose to that desperate team to the far north of us. Wink

No, they're not. Chicago is 12-19; they can win this game, and still finish 13-21. Atlanta can still make the playoffs, if they win out, Chicago wins tonight, but loses all the rest of their games, and Seattle loses out. Atlanta would only be eliminated tonight with a Seattle win, because they can't get to 15 wins.

I'm rooting for whichever outcome would cause the most angst, which I believe to be a Chicago win.

Atlanta is like that hero in the movies that just keeps on taking bullets but won't die.

The Atlanta Dream is an Impossible White Man?

Nope. That squad is all chocolate.

According to this, they could be.

Quote:
. You don’t have to be white OR a man to play an Impossible White Man. It doesn’t matter what race of gender the hero of the movie is, the role is always “Impossible White Man.” In the movie “Salt” Angelina Jolie’s character is an Impossible White Man. Same with Will Smith in Independence Day.

I would say in this case, the Dream are probably most like Rick and Michone from the Walking Dead. Both are clearly an Impossible White Man. Unfortunately, this year's team as a whole play more like a zombie.

The last game of the season is SEA vs CHI, and one of them has to win, right?

So it looks like lynxmania is right. I would say ATL needs DAL to win.
