S = Sykes, G = Gray

Minute G = 880; S = 800
Points S = 428; G = 421
Reb S = 131; G = 130
Ast. S = 62; G = 44

FG% S = 40.1; G = 38.5
3PT% S = 34.3; G = 29.5

S leads in every significant category in less minutes. If you by wins then Alexis Jones in ROY. Plus, Sykes hit 2 3 point baskets very late in the game to help her team win over the weekend.

First win in almost a month...yep shes got ROY in the bag . Maybe why her own home team's commentators even picked against her this weekend Laughing

Just for fun let's try this.

Knowing what we know now. You have the next pick in the draft, both Sykes and Gray are available, who do you pick?

Going with Sykes. She has more potential IMO

agree with Sykes (even though i haven't watched her that much this season she's definitely a creator)

I really like Gray but she more of an spot up shot if I'm open type of player maybe drive to the hoop once in a while and throw up some crazy shot.
in the long run if gray can improve her off hand and create a better offensively she will be a force to recon with she plays ok defense but these past few games it looks like maybe her defense needs to pick up as well

The pick would depend a bit on what team you are. If you were San Antonio - Sykes would have been a much better fit than Plum, because Jefferson (when healthy) is a better PG and they don't need Gray with McBride.

If you were the Sky - I think Gray might have fit their needs better as Young's replacement.

If you were Dallas - I would have drafted both of them, and skipped Shakahtor.

I'd pick Gray because she can thrive in a lesser role. I feel like Sykes is not quite good enough to justify the amount of possessions she uses and won't do nearly as well in a reduced role.

Or it might make her more effective and she would learn when to look for her shot and when not to. Sykes has that 6th player of the year role written all over her. Bonner 2.0 IMO 3rd leading scorer on a good team. I dont see that with Gray

I switched my vote from Gray to Sykes this week. Sykes is just more dynamic.
